Contract management

 

Environment

We believe that staff are happiest when working within a high praise, high accountability environment. To nurture an environment where the best staff thrive it is important that we can isolate individual performance within a team’s overall result.

 

Accountability

At the start of any contract therefore, we create both a cleaning schedule as well as individual accountability charts, which outline the tasks for which each team member is responsible. By doing this, we can accurately offer feedback based on the results achieved on individual tasks. Top staff love this as they get praise for their efforts. Of course, the process is equally useful in eradicating unwelcome results.

 

Attendance

At most sites we also use a telephone based attendance register. Staff are assigned a unique pin code that they must enter through a toll free telephone service when they arrive and depart each day. We’ve found this to be an effective way of managing and delivering the contract hours we promise to our clients. By stopping the late arrival and early departure of staff we are also confident we deliver greater value to our clients in respect of cleaning performance.

 

Health & Safety

We’re careful to manage Health & Safety carefully too. This forms a part of our initial induction training and is repeated every three months as part of our monthly training toolbox. Within the store cupboard we also place colour coding posters and other such material which aims to continually educate staff in best practice.
