Vincent Lockwood - Chairman

A 40 year veteran of the contract cleaning industry, Vince began his journey in South Africa where, as a 25 year old, he founded what would become the largest Contract Cleaning Company in South Africa now employing over 30’000 staff and publically listed on the JSE. His wealth of experience and passion for business have been a vital part of our ability to both grow and build upon the level of support we offer each of our customers.

 

 

Simon Duke - Managing Director

Not satisfied with “just enough”, Simon continues to push Cleanright to discover and invest in new products, processes and technologies. His belief in “great culture” as a catalyst for exceptional customer service has impacted the way we approach our business and has become a core part of our strategy. When Simon is not visiting customers, supporting our Operations team or otherwise developing the business you may also find him in the water, on his bike, or out running. These days though, that may not be that obvious…

 

 

Richard Lockwood - Commercial Director

Following in his father’s footsteps, Richard joined the Cleaning Industry at the tender age of eighteen. Fourteen years later his passion for perfection is every bit as inspiring. With quiet resolve, Richard has a canny knack for making things happen and continues to involve himself both in the daily management of our operational team as well as in a business development role. We’re not sure if Richard is ever really “away from work”, but we’ve heard he likes adventure sports – as long as he doesn’t have to part with his blackberry.

 

 

Simon Barnard - Operations Manager

Within the cleaning industry, there is perhaps no greater skill than the ability to get on with, and influence, people. Simon’s gregarious personality, likeability and commitment to each customer is a major asset to us as we strive to build solid customer relationships at all levels. His strong belief in fairness and in treating people with respect also means that he is able to call on his staff’s loyalty whenever required. We only wish that the “niceness” he extends to all our customers and staff would continue on the golf course where he seems happy to see the rest of us struggle away.

 

Yvonne Duke - HR & Accounts Manager

Whilst Yvonne is office based, she extends the same customer focussed approach to each of our clients. Polite, courteous, and most importantly, extremely efficient, our customers and cleaning staff enjoy a familiar voice and friendly interaction whenever they need to contact the office. Yvonne has owned a number of successful businesses in the past, and joined Cleanright as a company shareholder in 2009. We may be biased, but we also reckon she cooks the best and fanciest meals this side of the Ritz.
